Today, we're thrilled to share an exciting new collaboration project that is set to make a positive impact in the Wythenshawe community. The project, led by a talented writer, local radio presenter, and neighborhood organizer in partnership with Factory International, aims to highlight key health messages identified as priorities in the area through creative storytelling.

The Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO) Neighbourhood Voice Project Showcase will feature a series of monologues, a short film, and a soundscape, all written and produced by the project leader in collaboration with local actors, creatives, and the health promotion team. The goal is to create compelling stories that not only entertain but also educate and inspire change within the community. Through this project, the team hopes to engage with creatives, actors, technicians, directors, producers, and members of the local community. By showcasing the work of talented individuals and addressing important health issues, the project aims to foster a sense of unity and empowerment within Wythenshawe. In addition to the creative outputs, the project's website will also serve as a hub for community involvement, providing resources for local creatives to connect with one another and share their talents. This platform will not only showcase the collaborative work of the project but also serve as a space for ongoing engagement and dialogue within the community. Overall, the Captain's Leg Collaboration project with MLCO Neighbourhood Voice is a testament to the power of storytelling in creating positive social change. By combining creativity, community engagement, and a shared dedication to health promotion, this project is set to make a lasting impact in Wythenshawe and beyond.
